Biography
Jeffrey focuses his practice serving as plaintiff’s counsel, using his experience as a prosecutor, defense attorney, and judge to look at each case from every possible angle to achieve the best result for his clients. Jeffrey believes that transparency and collaboration lead to the greatest success both in and out of the courtroom.
Jeffrey worked in litigation for his entire career as a prosecutor, defense attorney, judge, and now plaintiff’s counsel. Most recently, he served as litigation counsel for Country Financial overseeing all litigation involving their insureds in California, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Hawaii. He was the primary attorney for the Special Investigations Unit, overseeing investigations across the entire country. Jeffrey began practicing civil litigation at GEICO, defending insureds in cases ranging from $10,000 up to $1,000,000.
When he first moved to Oregon he worked in both the Multnomah and Yamhill District Attorney’s Offices and was a member of the Yamhill County Child Abuse Taskforce and Mental Health Court team.
Jeffrey began his career learning trial advocacy as a prosecutor for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office handling cases ranging from domestic violence, drug trafficking, and other violent felonies.
Outside of the office, Jeffrey assists the Beaverton Municipal Court as a Pro Tem judge on traffic and criminal matters.
Outside of Law
I am a family man and a business owner I was a passenger in a life-threatening auto collision, and the challenges that crash set into motion included our financial devastation. I retained Arne Cherkoss to handle the financials of this already overwhelming tragedy. This would have ended in bankruptcy but instead settled peacefully with the chance at starting over as my recovery would allow. Brains and brawn with compassion, integrity, and experience.
